MasterMet 2 is a non-crystallizing, basic (pH ~ 11) silica suspension of nominal 0.02µm abrasive size and can be applied for the same material types as MasterMet. MasterMet 2 is ideal anytime crystallization of silica due to extended air exposure is a concern.
Similar to MasterMet, pair MasterMet 2 with ChemoMet® for the best performance except when manually polishing in which case MicroCloth® is most suitable.
